Don’t believe alcohol impairs judgment?
Then how do you explain this dim-witted act?
Part 1 of the story: In central Pennsylvania, police arrested a man for drunken driving after they found him passed out in his car one recent early morning. (We assume the car wasn’t moving at the time, which begs the question: Was this drunken driving?)
Officers hauled the man down to the police station.
Now, operating a vehicle in such a condition that it causes you to pass out is pretty brainless. But it gets better — or, worse, as the case may be.
Part 2: Later in morning, the man’s father drove down to the station to pick him up.
Drunk, police say.
Dimwit Jr. had a blood-alcohol content slightly more than twice the state’s legal limit. Dimwit Sr. had a BAC of one-and-a-half times the limit.
Driving drunk to the police station? Now tell us that’s not impaired.
