Not a high ambition

That stunt is surpassed perhaps only by this: Deliberately trying to attract police attention while you’re breaking the law.

In Butte, Montana, a man followed a patrol car for seven blocks, apparently to make sure he’d gotten officers’ attention, before pulling his SUV around and taking off at high speed.

Police say he reached 70 mph on local roads and more than 100 mph when he made it to the interstate. Police finally stopped him there by setting a spike strip in front of his vehicle.

When asked why he instigated the high-speed chase, police reported, the man said:

“I just always wanted to do that.”
