And speaking of signs …
In Vermont, state police vehicles have been cruising around featuring a decal that contains an image of a pig. (“Pig” is a derogatory term for police, in case you didn’t know.)
The artwork features the state crest, a pastoral scene of rural Vermont, including a cow in a pasture. But somehow, one of the spots on the cow was altered to appear in the shape of a pig.
The “prank” was traced to female inmates at a prison work center who helped produce the decals.
Talk about thumbing your nose at the police. Or should that be “thumbing your snout”?
The pig first was noticed by a trooper washing his vehicle earlier this month. But officials said decals have been in use for the past year; about 30 of them, in fact.
At this stage, it would be virtually impossible to determine exactly who was responsible for the alteration, a corrections official said.
Guess you could say the pig got caught, but the perpetrator escaped.
