County police announce arrests in credit card thefts

Albemarle County police made five arrests following several larcenies from vehicles, incidents of breaking and entering and credit card thefts, according to a news release from the department.

Police made the following arrests and charges: Kenneth C. Washington, 42, of Crozet, one count of credit card fraud and one count of credit card larceny; Anthony N. Kilby, 29, of Charlottesville, two counts of credit card theft; Anthony A. Timberlake, 22, of Schulyer, four counts of burglary and nine counts of credit card theft; Wendell M. Burton Jr., 21, of Charlottesville, four counts of burglary and nine counts of credit card theft; and Dionte C. Barbour, 20, of Charlottesville, four counts of burglary and nine counts of credit card theft.

Kilby and Washington were released on bond and the other suspects are being held at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail without bond.

The arrests helped resolve 30 cases, the release said.
