A former University of Virginia fourth-year student accused of killing a fellow student isn’t scheduled to return to court until October.
George Huguely, 22, originally was scheduled to return Thursday to Charlottesville General District Court to have a preliminary hearing date set in his case. According to court records, Thursday’s appearance has been continued until Oct. 7.
Huguely is facing a first-degree murder charge in connection with the death of 22-year-old Yeardley Love. Her body was found in her 14th Street Northwest apartment on May 3.
