Albemarle County police are looking for a man accused of exposing himself to a woman in a local store Friday afternoon. Cpl. Gary Pistulka confirmed the incident took place at Dick’s Sporting Goods off U.S. 29 at about 4:30 p.m.
Police describe the suspect as a black man between 25 and 30 years old and 180 and 190 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans, a black T-shirt with “daze” written on the front in gray lettering and a green zip-front sweatshirt, Pistulka said.
The man approached a woman in the camping section of the store and exposed himself, the officer said.
“When she started screaming for security, he ran to the front door,” Pistulka said.
The man couldn’t get through the first door he tried, and had to go around to the exit door on the other side of the registers to get out, he said.
