The deadline to register to vote in Virginia’s Republican presidential primary election on March 6 is Monday.
Voters are strongly encouraged to inquire before the registration deadline if they wish to check their voter registration status.
Qualified residents can apply for or change their voter registration at registrar offices or the Department of Motor Vehicles.Charlottesville’s Office of Voter Registration is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., while the Albemarle County Department of Voter Registration and Elections is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
